I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Whatley. I had a brief meeting with him once and he was very kind, very intellegent, and very encouraging. My thoughts and prayers go to your family and I pray that you find peace and comfort. Again, I am so very sorry for the loss you are and will endure in the future. Please know that your family and friends extend far beyond your imagination and that we are all sending our support.

Jan was a good friend of mine even all the way back to 3rd grade thru jr. High. Then we lost touch. He had such a great sense of humor back then. I hope that your family will have fond memories of Jan Tom.

Dear Whatley Fanily,
I am truly sorry about Jan's passing. We had some great times together when he lived in Austin while attending The University of Texas.
I have very fond memories of Jan.
I could tell you many a good stories about our times together.
Every time I hear Bob Seager's
song "Turn the Page" I think of Jan. It makes me smile and remember some of the best times in my life.
It was a honor to know Jan.
