Swanson, Jana L. Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmama, passed away peacefully on Oct. 25, at home in Savage, after a 3-year battle with lung cancer; she was 54. Graduate of Burnsville HS, class of 1970. She had a calming presence and great inner strength. Always giving, she put the needs of others before her own and enjoyed doing little things for family and friends, like crocheting her famous blankets. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 31 years, Gary; her child- ren, Salina (Keith), Nicole, Nate, Aaron, and Todd; three grandchildren; brother, Brent Annear; and her extended family and numerous friends. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Jeanette Annear; brother, Dennis Annear; and nephew, Sam Taylor. Special thanks to Minnesota Oncology, Heartland Hospice, and Rev. Mary Hurmence. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Memorial for Jana Swanson (Proceeds to benefit a family in need).
