I think of Jane often....her steadfastness....her love for her precious husband....her devotion to and treasure of music....her reliability...her care for First Pres. May we all leave such a legacy. Helen

Jane Abbott Kirk was the piano professor for my brother Dr. Alan Louis Smith. She taught him from his freshman year at Baylor through his Master's Degree. He went on to get a doctorate from University of Michigan then a tenured professorship at University of Southern California. She was so integral to his success and a great influence on the development of his gifts. He was always grateful, spoke highly of her with great affection. She will live on.

With gratitude for Jane's incredible capacity for love, remarkable talent, and inspiring resilience and strength. She was a difference maker for so many.
