On this anniversary of Jane's entry into heaven, I wanted to thank her again for being my Godmother and a friend to my parents. I have dedicated my life since I was 17 years old to God and the service of those most in need. Before 17, I was hurtling towards a life of dissipation and self-service. I attribute the dramatic change in my life to my Godmother's prayers. She never told me she was praying for me but I have a deep, abiding sense that she was. I believe she continues to do so now...
