They were quite a couple, their children meant all as they meant all to their children, so obvious at her final service which was lovely, touching and heart warming. I have fond memories from childhood playing in the old neighborhood with Doug, Mary and Bud (may he rest in peace).

I remember your father and mother as always being a very fun, loving and lively couple. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. My mother and father were friends through the years with your parents, Joe and Elsie Eckhart. We lost our mother in 2007 at 91 also. My Dad is still here and just turned 92. Time helps heal, but the loss is never gone. Our prayers go to you and your family.

Lorraine & Verdun were always fun to be around. Dan&I always enjoyed getting together with them. We camped off & on over the years with the Pan Am Rod & Gun Club. My deepest condolances to Lorraine's family. I lived down the hall from Lorraine at Sunnyhills and consider myself so fortunate to have known her. She always had a smile and was such a loving, compassionate woman. I consider myself blessed to have known her.
