Not sure what to say?

Deidre,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss of your mother. I enjoyed our visits when we met, and knew she was a special woman with many interests and talent.

I know you will miss her.

Sincerely,
Rebecca

Jane made each of my mornings brighter. I will miss her terribly and remember her fondly.

Jane Brier was my art teacher for four years. She was teacher, mom, friend, mentor, all wrapped up in the most fantastic package. She introduced us to the New York art scene, and her love of all arts. She helped me get into Marywood University, where I too, received a BA in Art Ed. She was the classiest woman I've ever known, and will be missed by all who knew her. My sympathies to her family.

My memories of Jane Brier were not in the classroom as much as they were in her home. I grew up on Swartz St and was a very good friend of Deidra's. If you grew up on Swartz St everyone's mother was yours as well....Love to Deidra, Kevin and Scott.

Jane was the first person I met who I thought had real "culture". She looked classy, had been around the world, knew things about art that no one else seemed to know. I spent more time in the art room than anywhere else in the school and she didn't mind. I still have the medallion she presented to me my senior year. I loved her Friday slide shows and her stories, "No bakshish!" She inspired my decision to go to art school and I thank her for passing on her love for all things creative to all...

Kevin & Family sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom your loss is shared by many I'm sure. She was a very special teacher who touched many lives in a positive way.

Deidre and Family,
Much was said about the adventures of "Jane Scott" by my mother Ann over the years. I remember her as a vivacious woman with energy to spare. I know she will be greatly missed. Take care and cherish all the wonderful memories for the rest of your lives.

Jane Brier was a soman of exceptional love for her students and home town. She never missed an opportunity to help improve both. My sympathy goes out to her family, and all who knew and loved her. She will always be missed. Irma Sleboda, Dunmore, PA

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
