I will always remember Jane and her family who went to Sandy Island for decades. I always remember my mother's stories about meeting Jane and her family at Sandy Island in 1956.

Jane, you were always a welcoming presence at camp and I loved the twinkle you always had! When someone would mention the "Spirit of Sandy", you would come to my mind as one who really embodied that concept. You have been missed at Sandy the past few years, and will continue to be thought of often and with a smile!

She will always remain in my heart as the very special woman she was, we had many laughs together, her independence was her trademark, and her beautiful smile made all near her feel so welcomed. Sending peaceful...
