Not sure what to say?

Although I did not know her, I did know her parents. Back in March 1931, my dad went to her father's Sunday School class at Westminster where he met my mom. They were married in 1934 and from this union came my sisters and me, seven grandchildren (six living) and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Jane Bryson was someone who touched the hearts of many. She was gracious and kind, and lent a hand of friendship to strangers from afar. She was fond of gardening and nature. May she rest in peace in the eternal garden of heaven.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Bryson through her work at the Templeton Foundation where I currently work with her daughter, Ruth. Mrs. Bryson was always a gracious woman, inclusive of all. I loved her hair; I know it sounds funny to say such a thing, but she was just so cute.

A brilliant woman, a loving mother and a tireless supporter of the arts and our comunity. Brs. B gave endlessly, with a smile and grace that few others could match. I am so very grateful for the time that I was blessed to be in her company and the company of her extended loving family.

In gratitude and remembrance,

I feel very privileged to have worked for Mrs. Bryson at Star Mooring Farms in the past.

May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort your family now and in the days ahead.

I was lucky to get to know Jane through a special mutual friend and to share good times with her at Star Mooring Farm. She loved the farm, music, strong people, and having fun, and was interested, thoughtful and generous in every way; it was her nature to be a lady. She adored James and had a wonderful life. It was a privilege to know her and be her friend.

Mrs. Bryson was the epitome of a lady and will be sorely missed. As a new mother, I hope I can live up her example of what a great mother and grandmother should be.

Mrs. Bryson's impressive list of accomplishments are rightfully worthy of the utmost respect. Many have benefited through her selfless work on behalf of the greater community.

Yet, it was her gracious spirit, unwavering devotion to family, and wonderful sense of humor that will always inspire my greatest admiration. I suspect this will be true to all who have had the great blessing of knowing Mrs. Bryson personally.

Because of our shared faith in Christ, it is with hope...

Mrs. Bryson was a role model for us all. Her grace and graciousness never wavered. She warmly opened her heart to many.

Family was her priority and her wonderful family consistently returned her love.

I am a better person for having known Mrs. Bryson.
