Not sure what to say?

Jane Carlson had such a kind heart and a beautiful soul. My family feels grateful and blessed that we had the opportunity to meet her , and I am happy to call her a friend. Once at a dinner she had given me a gift , a heart shaped crystal - that has always meant so much to me - I keep it displayed in our China cabinet, and I shall treasure it forever.
God Bless You Jane
Love, Corey, Rita, Caleb and Zoe Beard

Jane's mother, Mrs. Spottswood lived next door to my family, my entire childhood and young adulthood. My parents thought highly of Jane and of her mother. I remember when the first grandchild/great-grandchild was born and how thrilled everyone was. My thoughts are with the Carlson family at this time. Sally Wortman, Fort Myers, FL

My husband and I met Jane in an elevator in Sputh Padre., and we kept up our friendship im Rokford She gave us much info on S. Padre and good places to eat there as well as places to eat in Rockford. We enjoyed playing "Oh Heck" with her also.

Carlson Family,

I first met Jane when I worked at the Y.M.C.A. and she was a volunteer. I also met Dave there as well as he was on the Board of Directors...They were both wonderful people and I will always appreciate their support in hosting Japanese when we started The Friendship Association of Rockford. The students always enjoyed playing tennis at the Carlson home...Both Dave and Jane made Rockford a better place to live...My sincere sympathy.

To the Family.........

Fran,
Both of your parents and your maternal grandmother were special people. I enjoyed working with your Mom on the memorials after Court Street's fire. They were great supporters of Dr. McElvany and were always willing to do their share and more. My best to you and your extended family.

Dear Fran,
I was so sorry to read about your Mom. She was a very special lady.
