I came to Lincoln Elementary to teach sixth grade in 1967 and next door was this speech therapist who I got to know pretty quickly. She and I both were opinionated and thank goodness, we agreed on just about everything. Jane was quite a lady. Tom Weber

Jane Doak Cochran was my special reading teacher at Grant School. She taught me to read and was the nicest teacher I ever had. She always counted the shirts I wore to school for I would wear two or three at a time. She was a good friend of my aunt Enola Christian Fink who is now living in Arizona. I have fond memories of Miss Doak and her kind spirit.

I knew Jane as a neighbor and enjoyed her friendship thoroughly. She was always very clear on what she stood for and I learned from her. I have often thought of Jane after I moved from the Falls. My deepest condolences to her family. Judy Walk Hazard
