I have been a neighbor of Jane's since the mid 90s when we moved in with 2 young girls. Jane loved having children in the neighborhood and hosted several tea parties at her house for them, especially when Annie was in town. They were required to dress up and act like proper young ladies! She kept tabs on all of the children as they grew and called one day just to tell me how proud she was to have such smart kids surrounding her! She kept an eye on the neighborhood and didn't let much get...

I first met Jane through the League of Women Voters of Ozaukee County. Jane served as the Voter Services Chair for many years and did a great job with it. We attended many of the League's special events together. Jane made the BEST cakes and often offered one for the League's fundraising auctions. Each cake was fiercely bid upon and raised high amounts! We had many (though not enough) visits in her last years and she will be missed. My loving condolences to her family that she loved...
