Jane Taylor Crown

My sincere condolences to the family and other friends of this wonderful friend. I was blessed to have this angel as my friend and colleague. As many have stated, Jane loved a spirited conversation and was never shy about voicing her opinion. We were alike in that way and I know that drew us together. She is truly missed.

Jane is smiling in all these photos, and I recall her smile from High School in Poughkeepsie New York back in the 1970s, along with her enthusiasm and her smartness and her desire to help others. I can see she retained all these wonderful traits throughout her life.

I first met Jane when she worked in the NYC Office of Management and Budget under the Office of the Mayor. Although Jane joined us with high credentials graduating from Wellesley and Yale, she always managed to show the beautiful side of life of compassion, friendship, and laughter! I just heard about Jane's passing through the Wellesley Alumnae office.
