Not sure what to say?

I am sad to find out about Jane´s passing. I met her in church and she was such a sweet lady. She was a nurse through and through- always caring for others. My condolences to her sisters whom she loved deeply. May she rest in paradise.

Dear Anne and Mary, my condolences for your loss. My dear godmother, Jane, guided my faith in Christ in many ways whether by words or actions. For example, she introduced me to Richard Rohr, and I read, and we discussed one of his books. I also enjoyed many a meal with her sometimes at her house and sometimes at her favorite restaurants (e.g. Harvest, Kingfisher, etc.) Every meal was preceded by a prayer of thanks for the meal, our time together and God´s blessings. Jane, I miss you already!

Dear Ann and Mary, I am so sorry to hear of Jane's death. I had no idea she was ill, especially because I just spoke with her at the end of July. She wanted to hear all about my son's wedding. (She had been close to him when he was growing up and wanted updates even when he became a grown-up.) Over the years we shared many a long conversation--about art, gardening, cooking, family, and "life"--and many a holiday meal at my mom's table, which Jane always declared impeccable. I will miss her.

The Conway family send their deepest sympathies. Jane was especially dear to my mother Marty and her husband Gerry Conway. I always enjoyed her sense of humor as well as her practical no nonsense style. She will be missed. Gerry Conway, Jr

Dear Ann and Mary, I'm so sorry to learn of Jane's death. We were friends beginning in first grade at St. Angela's, but unfortunately lost track as the years passed. My memories of that friendship are many and dear; my thoughts are with you both. Diane Roberto

I am heartbroken to learn of Jane's passing. I am a friend of hers in Tucson and met her years ago through the Desert House of Prayer, a place that was dear to both of us. I knew she was ill last month and have been reaching out to her via text for a few weeks, with no response. I cannot attend the service in Cleveland and offer my deep condolences to Jane's sisters.
