Jane Newman DeWitt

Mrs. Jane was my neighbor and friend whilst we lived in Port Gibson, Mississippi. She was kind, gentle, funny and the sweetest woman who took me under her wing and encouraged me when i was the mother of one and then 3 very young children. She treated me and my family like her own, and she was Grandma Jane to us. I was gifted with her stories of her growing up and raising her two boys. She was a fiery, wise, delight who i had so much fun with as a true friend. I remember laughing together...
