Not sure what to say?

I think about you often. I really miss you.

I have just learned of Janie's death. My prayers to Tenderly, Alison, Angie and Jim as you go through this difficult time. Janie was teaching at Lyman Elementary when I first started my teaching career at Bel-Aire Elementary. I would stop by in the afternoon to visit with her and "pick her brain." I learned so much from those afternoon visits. I feel like I became a better teacher because of her mentorship. My prayers and love to all the family.

I, too, met Ms.Jane after Katrina. She welcomed us with open arms, inviting us in & preparing us supper. We were there to help her & she was the one helping us. Special lady. She will be missed!

Angie, Alli, Jim and Tenderly, words can not express my feelings for your mother, Ms Jane. This past Saturday I was cleaning my house, mopping and her Christmas card fell from my frig, I picked it up and looked at it, and thought about her and Gulfport, and just smiled and put it back up, little did I know she was being laid to rest that very same day, did not find out until today Wednesday the 20th, I really think the Holy Spirit was letting me know that Ms. Jane was in Heaven, and not to...

I was privileged to meet Mrs. Estrada after Katrina. She was a strong and amazing lady and Gulfport will suffer her loss.

Met Miss Janie while on mission trip to Gulfport after Katrina. Very special Lady. Edie Walls-Town Creek Bapt. Church in N.C.

To Janie's Family: During my school years, I walked down Wisteria everyday and passed the Morris home with adjoining vacant lot usually blooming with a garden. My family lived at the other end of Wisteria and neighbors were friends then. Janie was always quick to give to others and help anyone who needed it. As my Mother got older, Janie made sure to visit her often. I continued to try and keep in touch with the neighbors after Mother passed.Janie and I corresponded through Christmas cards!...

Aunt Angie, Uncle Ed and Evan...
I am so sorry for your loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. You will all be in my prayers!

Your 5th grade class of Lyman Elementary 1981/1982. Thank you for being "our everything"
