Jane Mary Fisher

To the family and friends of Jane. I first met Jane over 40 years ago when I worked with her at (back then) Hamilton Hospital in the OR. I remember her wit, her smile and how she always brought light into a room when she entered it. I was told by another former staff member of her passing and just wanted the family to know I was saddened to hear of her passing. She was a great Nana and Charlie and I loved her and loved spending time with her. She was the one of the strongest women I have ever known. Dedicated herself to the medical field and helping take care of people. She always worked hard and never let anything stop her from her job or taking care of her Mom, Betty. Very sad news. Condolences to the family. Jane and Bob were our wonderful neighbors and friends on Harker Road for many years.

Dear Pownall family members, Michael and I are so saddened to read of the loss of you daughter, sister, mother and niece. It wasn't that long ago that Michael was speaking to Betty and catching up with the family. Michael has many memories of the good times that he and Jane shared, and is certainly in shock over her sudden passing. I am so sorry to hear the news of Jane passing. I enjoyed working with Jane and hearing her laughter and wonderful stories we shared about our families. She enjoyed her family and friends so much and was such a wonderful sunshine to be around all the time. I will surely keep her family in my prayers during this time.
