Not sure what to say?

Dear Alice
Being an educator your Mom would want us to learn our ABC's. Here are just a few she would want us to remember and carry in our hearts.
A- Appreciate your friends
C- Continue to learn
I- Imagine more
O- Open and see your world
T- Touch hearts
W- Walk to the edge
Z- Zealously support a worthy cause.
She was a wonderful, full of life woman. I know you will miss her but the memories will be vibrant for years.
Love you Md

My condolences to the family. I had the honor of working for Jane when she was at the Victorian in Ventura. I always looked forward to seeing her and visiting with her. I was working on my teaching credential at the time and she was very supportive and we had wonderful conversations about education. I think of her often.

Alice and Bob,

What a wise and wonderful woman Jane was! I never got to meet her, but was one of the fortunate beneficiaries of her encouragement to Alice to continue contact with her high school friends.

I had never realized she had such remarkably full educational, career and community-service accomplishments. I am not at all surprised, given the loving things I've heard over the years in regard to her. What a rich heritage she leaves!

Blessings to you both, Cathlyn...

To my cousin, Jane. To know you was a treasure, that I only had briefly.
sincerely Vivian Brown San Jacinto, CA.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Alice,
What an extraordinary life your mother lived! She leaves you with some wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Your Pennsylvania Friend,
Mary Ann

Bob and Alice:
Your mother was a ceaseless source of wonder and inspiration, all done in her understated and dignified manner. She was wise, always supportive, and full of empathy. Your mother was truly one of a kind, and will be missed by many. You and your families have my deepest sympathies...

Alice and Bob,
Your mother and my Aunt left a leagacy for all of us to live up to, especially in the area of learning. May we all keep learning in our life until we are called "home". God Bless you and your families
