Jane Marie Fumo

Jane Marie Fumo, nee Jones, of River Forest, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Michael James Fumo; devoted mother of Marianne (Walter) Routh, Thomas Fumo, Mimi (Tom Venezio) Fumo, Maura (Rob) Quinn and the late Michael Jr. (Pam), the late Patrick (Helene), and the late Julie (Jim) Behrends; proud grandmother of Mick, Jessica, Tom, Kevin, Patrick, Jennifer, Lizzie, Michael, Abby, Lily, Stefanie, Erica, Robby and Ryan; great-grandmother of 7; preceded in death by her sibling Barney (late Irma) Jones and Nydia (late Jim) Gardner; fond aunt of many. Jane graduated from Barat College with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She enjoyed teaching and spending time with her family, especially Summers in Lake Geneva. All to meet Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at St. Luke Church, 7600 Lake St., River Forest for a Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
