My Grandmother was a kind and generous woman. She will always be in my heart. I have very special memories of her. As kids, she always made sure we were comfortable, whether that meant home-cooked food, an extra blanket, a listening ear, or her prayers. Her voice always picked up when I called or visited, signaling a happy tone and delight to hear from her oldest grandchild. When we had to move, we always stayed in touch. Whether by phone or letter or visit, we knew what was our "going-ons"....
