Not sure what to say?

Leslie and I loved working with Jane. Her energy and enthusiasm was present and welcome every time I spoke with her. It was an honor to know Jane, and I am grateful to have had the chance to work with her.

Jane will be missed. Our thought and prayers go out to you, Sally, as you grieve your mother's passing. My mother (Carol) and I (Steve) have many wonderful memories of our association together as co-worker and undergraduate student with Jane at Houston Baptist University.

May your memories carry you through the difficult times.

I've just received the news today and am totally shocked! Please accept my sincere sympathy, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this time. I had no idea Jane was fighting a disese, but so like your family to keep it private. I know all the family was there for her through it all and that she was blessed by you! She will truly be missed.
Much love, Alton & Sallie Landry

Jane was a wonderful assest to the district and a most giving, compassionate person. She will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Sally and Ann,
I just got the news. I'm sad and mad at myself. Your Mom was on my mind a few weeks ago and I thought, "I need to track her down and get caught up."
I'm so sorry. Your Mom was such a dear friend. I never would have made it through those first few years without her laughter and encouragement. We shared many fun birthday celebrations and just easy-going conversations. Sally, please contact me when the smoke clears and if there is anything I can do or if you just need to...

I still cannot wrap my mind around the idea that Jane has passed. She was a wonderful, caring person who worked tirelessly to make sure everyone around her was taken care of. I will miss her dearly. My prayers are with Sally and the rest of her family.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of Jane Grimes. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted person and will be missed by so many. Sally, my thoughts and prayers are with you. If there is anything I can do, please contact me. God bless.

I had the great fortune of working with Jane at Elrod Elementary for many years. She was a warm, caring, and dedicated teacher as well as a friend to all. Her enthusiasm and vitality had a way of inspiring others to reach for their maximum potential. She truly made this a better world for all she left behind and her memory will be cherished forever.

Jane Grimes was a treasure. In every one of our encounters, she not only addressed my needs in a professional and most excellent manner; she addressed my needs in a personal manner through her compassion and concern. She will be sorely missed. May God bless and comfort her family during this time of sorrow.
