Not sure what to say?

Ann So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a great lady. Sincere sympathy to you an your family. Lynn

Oh my dear Jane, what a friendship we have had. It started with you not liking me at all. Then we needed a sit in euchre player. Oh boy were you the card shark of the building. Whoever was your opposing team knew from the start that they weren't winning that round. Those games changed how we interacted and we became good friends. You were spunky and didn't let anyone do you wrong. Your faithfulness in birthday and Christmas cards is just a small example of your love for people. Even...

So sorry on your loss. Deepest sympathy to the family. She lived a long long full life. She had so much joy for life. May she rest in peace and rejoin Uncle John in heaven.

During the many years that we lived a block away, Mrs. Halas was my mother's best friend. The common bond they had was Church & family. We bought from the Halas' store, I attended school with the girls & delivered the Press to their home. It was a time of community living, a good era, and Mrs. Halas was a kind person.

Mrs. Halas was one of the adult figures in my life that influenced me as I grew up. Known as a wonderful and loving human being. It has been wonderful seeing photos of her on facebook, rekindling my memories of her. Thank you for that girls, and for being a part of my growing up on the west side. She is surely in heaven.

So sorry to hear of your mom´s passing . I´m sure she is rejoicing with your dad . Loralee (Rekucki ) Fisher

102 !!!! Wow ! She´s seen many changes in her Lifetime!! Would have loved to have known her ! RIP Sue Willard Gr. Mich .

Jane was one of a kind! I worked with Jeanette at the post office & had been able to see her every so often. I fell in love with her the first time I met her. What a beautiful, kind, & sharp minded woman she was. Once I joined the Bingo games for a season & I sat by Jane. She had about 24 cards & I had about 12. She kept pointing the ones I missed. I told Jeanette next time I didn´t want to sit next her, it was humbling. I never saw her when she didn´t have her hair done, wearing nice...

Always a joy to spend time with Jane during her visits to Ludington. Her wit and smile will forever be a fond memory. Rest now Jane, you will be missed but always remembered. Blessings to your family. Marybeth and Pat Long
