Jane Marilyn Giffin Hale

Our deepest sympathies from the Grant family Jane was a great neighbor.

Jane was a thoughtful and kind woman with whom my mother had a very fond friendship. She was an important part of my mother's support network when her husband Horace passed away, and soon became a member of our extended family. Mum would always recount with fondness the many evenings she and Jane spent together sharing supper, church events and other social outings. They had a lot of fun together and I suspect they are doing the same now.

Jane was a special friend who had a wonderful sense of humor. She was always concerned for the welfare of others. I especially enjoyed her friendship during Woodfords Church's Book Club gatherings. Jane and my husband John were very involved with the Iona Grant fund which continues to help senior citizens of the church. We will both miss her a great deal.

I will miss our long talks about life when she came to the dentist office. She was a very sweet lady, she will be sorely missed.
