Jane Carroll Hall

I was aged ten when I first met Jane and the Hall family. She has always been part of my life even if it was in the background. The world is a better place for having a person like Jane , I feel honoured to have known her and Bob. May be RIP.

One of the finest I've ever had the pleasure to know and work with. Her cheerful smile greeted me in many places. Her encouragement in quilt making changed my life. We enjoyed so many times together over the years. You will be sorely missed by dear friend.

I believe it was in the 1990´s when I read an article about the pineapple quilt block. It stayed in my mind and I finally completed a pineapple quilt. It wasn´t that long ago I saw Jane at Bernina World of Sewing. It was a nice surprise. I was too shy to approach her but I listened as she shared exciting news about her latest quilting venture. She will be missed.

Oh Jane, I thought you would go on forever. Thank you for your 40+ years of friendship, your quiet humor, the laughs we shared, the numerous quilt shows where we met, the projects we worked on together. We called you the Energizer Bunny the last 15 years. There were still so many people who wanted you to share your artistic skills and your world wisdom. I was a member of Capital Quilters Guild of Raleigh, N.C. when Jane was there. I also shopped at etc quilt shop in Cary, N.C. and I think she ran the shop. May Jane RIP. She was such a nice Lady!
