Not sure what to say?

Jane was my first principle when I entered the Syr School district. She was an excellent example for what a principle should be.She encouraged my educational goals. May god bless her..

Miss Harnett was a wonderful principal when I had her at Jefferson School. She gave each student special attention. I remember making a Turkey ornament for her for Thanksgiving and she entrusted in me to make them for a luncheon she was having. This showed how much she cared and instilled confidence in me. She will always be remembered fondly.

Miss Hartnett was a very wonderful woman, I had her for a teacher at Edward Smith School, and also kept in contact with her as she was my childrens principal at Edward Smith. She will be very missed.

Ms. Hartnett was my principal from 1970-1975. I remember her as a kind and caring educator. May God bless and keep her family.

This picture looks exactly like I remember her from elementary school. I have spoken of her often throughout the years. I'm 45 years old now and still remember the kindness and patience she had with me everytime I was sent to her office. She has left a lasting impression on my life. Thank you !!

I am one of her many nieces. I still cherish the book she gave me in 1963 on world geography. I will never forget how fun it was to roll down the hill in her backyard on Ormsby Drive. I am sorry I cannot join my extended family for the services. Jane was a good sister to my father, William Hartnett. (Only she could call him Billy). She cared so much for their brother, Rev. Patrick J. Hartnett. Bill's four daughters were blessed to have her as our aunt.

Miss Hartnett left very positive memories with me from Jefferson School, a warm and professional female role model. I am sorry for her passing.

For several years I've tried unsuccessfully to locate two of the teachers who were a profound influence in my life, Miss Hartnett being one, to express my heartfelt thanks. At a time in my life when I felt very insecure Miss Hartnett "read me like a book". How sad I am that I missed the opportunity to let her know how much she meant to me.
My sympathies go out to her family and friends. She was my "Angel" in the fifties and I'm sure that she has now officially received her Wings. ...

I'll always remember from this pic of her what she looked like when I was a student in 1968-1972. She was so kind to me and my family. The Tolberts. I send prayers of strength to the family. May God continue to Bless you.
