Not sure what to say?

I am Jane´s first cousin, Bob Marshall. I am sorry that I could not be at her funeral mass to offer my condolences to her children and grandchildren. I last saw Jane some 20 years ago when we gathered (Jane, Drew, my brother Denny and I) to bury our Aunt Rose Marshall in Waterloo. I remember, fondly, she and Bart shepherding me and Drew, when he and I were children, around Dubuque when my family visited two or three times per year from our home in Ottawa, IL. I know that family...

Prayers are with Jane's family. I love Jane so much; she was a long-time friend and support system for the Yellow Kidney Family. Miss and love you, Jane. I have so much beautiful memories with Jane.

I would have loved to have known Jane. I feel her spirit after reading this wonderful obituary. condolences to all her family and friends.

I am not sure if I enjoyed keeping Jane's old red Dodge running in the 90's, but I sure enjoyed a smattering of reality whenever we crossed paths. I am glad she was a part of my life and that I am a better person because of her.

For Katie: I enjoyed having Jane in yoga classes at the Women's Club, she was always nice to me. I also enjoyed her sarcasm and her sense of humor. She was a powerful force to be reckoned with I am sure! Sending love to you and your family. MIndy Opper

I loved Jane and I loved the obit. She made an impact where ever she went. I think there is a special place for Jane in heaven. Watch out up there.

Siobhan....my deepest sympathy to you and your family. This tribute of the impact your mom had on the world is so lovingly and honestly written. I treasure the time I had with you and Tad in SCF and send you love as you honor and grieve your mom´s life.

I never got to meet Your Mother, but going to Business college in Bismarck, early 60 , and having lived in towns close, I still read obits. Your mom´s made me wish I would have met her and I posted that on my Facebook page yesterday . " Have you ever read an obituary and thought I wish I had known that person" Well your obit did that for me , Prayers to all of your family for sharing that .

To Jane Kane´s family, my prayerful sympathy! I was blessed to be Katie´s first grade teacher at Cathedral Grade school! I remember well Jane and Bart and Katie! Jane was unique and special, always interested in and concerned about her children `s education! May she know God´ s special welcome of eternal joy, live and peace!
