I really loved Jane. She simply radiated Grace and calm determination to live a peaceful life. I admired her so much and miss her more than I can say. Losing Jane in my life was really difficult and at her passing he left a void that cannot be filled. Just before she died (and it was clear her time was short) I traveled to the Vineyard for a sweet farewell. I visited with her and a realative and we said our goodbyes. Jane and Paul were almost relatives of ours. Paul's father was married to our step-grandmother, and we had many happy family gatherings I will always remember. Our condolences to Karl and Christian and your families.

Julie and Jane's family, we were so sorry to hear the news about Jane's death. We got to know her over the past 10 + years or so, on Martha's Vineyard. What a person so full of grace. I worked with Jane at RISD while I was Assistant to the Dean of Architecture & Design. She was always such a joyful and smiling presence. Every year I use a beautiful Christmas ornament she gave me.
