Jane M. Lynch

Jane M. (Wilk) Lynch--96, A resident of Somerville for 68 years went to her eternal reward after a brief illness on May 18, 2013.

For 68 years Jane was the beloved wife of Robert ?George? Lynch. and the devoted mother of Robert Jr. of Somerville, John and his wife Beryl of Wilmington, Deborah of Medford, and Thomas and his wife Gale of Danvers. She was the cherished aunt and ?Ma? to Joseph and his wife Joan of Dracut and the loving and proud Babcia of John Jr., Maura, Danielle, Cameron, Matthew, Sarah, Brendan and Michael. Jane was also the happy great-grandmother of Sebastian and the dear sister of the late Sophie McHale and John Wilk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially Norberta Reilly and Patricia Shanahan.

A Funeral procession will be held, from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) in Somerville on Wednesday morning May 22, 2013, at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church in Somerville at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 21, from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.

Jane enjoyed a long and happy life, persevering with strength at all times. She was most happy at home with George and her family. She was the professional secretary to the Somerville High School Guidance Department and past president of St. Ann?s Mothers Club. Special thank you to Dr. Stephen P.
