We were very sad to hear about the passing of Janie. Our family always referred to her as Janie, probably as a lasting term of endearment for the young girl that my parents knew. The Janie I remember was full of warmth and wisdom about life and the Andres side of the family. She was quick to share a good natured story or memory of the older relatives (especially her mother Katie) that always ended with a perfectly timed punchline served up with infectious laughter.
