Jane was my moms friend for over 50 years. I can't remember a time in my life without her being some part of it. I would hear them laughing on the phone with each other; crying and supporting each other. My mom would take me to her house and she would play music and show me her latest project she was working on. She became a friend to me; a person I would call to say hello and check in with. She was at so many of our family functions; some friends thought she was an aunt of mine! She just...
