Not sure what to say?

I'll never forget sitting next to Grandma this past Thanksgiving when she said, "We're a good group." Her love and devotion blossomed into a beautiful family, a truly "good group." She created for my family and me a source of strength and care that will continue on through many generations to come. Her love and legacy will never die and will live on in all of our hearts forever.

You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here.

Uncle Eddie and family,
I just wanted you to know that you
are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm
sorry that I am unable to be there.
Chris

Grandma Mac had this amazing ability to make you feel like the most important grandkid in the world. My best example of this was a Christmas evening that involved a multitude of identical square boxes. After dinner, Grandma Mac handed each grandkid one of those mysterious boxes. Then on her count of 3, we opened our box to reveal the most adorable teddy bear. Each was the same except for the different colored yarn tied to its leg. From the day I married Tim, I called her Mom and she always treated me like a daughter. She and Dad were always there when I needed them most. I hope I was able, in some small way, to repay her this past year. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

I had a summer job in Cleveland in 1977 and Jane and Ed were kind enough to share their home with me for 2 1/2 months. I remember when I met Maureen (the future Mrs. Eddy) she said something to the effect "so you're the new son" - and that's how they made me feel. Jane was simply one of those people that made the world seem a better place because she was in it.

“May the road rise to meet you,
The sun shine warm on your face,
The wind be at your back,
The rain fall softly on your fields,
And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”

“Forever your hugabug”

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I'm so sorry I can't be there at this time. I have wonderful memories of Aunt Jane. She was so fortunate to be surrounded by her loving family when she passed away. Her children are a tribute to the wonderful mother she was.
