Not sure what to say?

I met Jane in Madison where we became friends. I was with her when she broke her knee and I took care of her cats, Thai, Mouse, and Mr. Wong, while she was in the hospital. Later she gave me my first cat, Miranda.
We stayed friends and later we traveled together to Alaska and to Turkey. She was a delightful, witty person. We laughed a lot. I miss her quick wit and her curiosity about life and her knowledge.
I hope her cat Blue, whom she loved so much, has a good home.

I knew Jane at Madison. We traveled together to Alaska and to Turkey. She was a good friend. I hope her Blue has a good home.
When Jane broke her knee I took care of her cats, Thai, Mouse, and Mr. Wong, until she was released from the hospital.
She was a delightful friend and I am so sorry that she is no longer with us. She gave me my first cat, Miranda, a delightful Siamese.

I have heard the Moorman name many, many times in the 33 years I have worked at Austin College--and more times than not it was the name of Jane Moorman rather than Dean Moorman to which the speaker referred. I believe I met her in her last trips to the college; I remember her as being rather intimidating to the young woman I was then!! My condolences to her family. What a tradition of excellence she and her family left for Austin College.
