Dearest Dawn, Vicky, and Kenny,
I just found Auntie Jane's guest book, while looking for a way to contact you. Today is Sept 14th 2009 and it is bittersweet that I found it, because Auntie Helen passed away this morning. I wish I was able to be there for you, I love your mom so much and I think about her all the time. I miss you guys so very much I wish we had grown up closer to each other geographically, but the times we did get to spend together I treasure with all my heart.

I am sorry for responding so late to this. I just found out about your moms passing. I loved your mom. I remember spending many an evening at your house just hanging out with your parents. I was always treated like one of the family. She will be missed.

It is so fitting to see these 3 entries in mom's guestbook. Uncle Bob and Aunt Jeannette were one of the reasons my parents took trips home to Mass. Dad loved his brother, Bob - and mom found true friendship in Aunt Jeannette. My aunt and uncle always welcomed us with open arms. I will always remember the house on Buffum St. with fondness - and great times spent with my 3 cousins. I love you all. Vicky

My earliest memories of my Aunt Jane were that she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen! When Jane and Red came to Mass. to visit, they always stayed with mom and dad (Bob and Jeannette). Dad and Red would stay up till 11:00 or so, but Mom and Jane would be up until 3:00 or 4:00 am talking , whispering, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. There was never enough time for everything they had to talk about. I was always so glad that they had each other!
I'm thinking...

I have many fond memories of Aunt Jane, but the thing that I think means the most to me is that I know she was a great friend to my Mom, her sister-in-law, Jeannette. I'm sure they are together now in heaven cooking up something! Surely they are looking down on their families with pride and love.

Hold on to the memories.

We remember Jane with love, affection and fond memories. She was my Aunt, a beautiful woman who was fun-loving, funny and wise.
Mom and Jane were more than sisters-in-law -- they were friends. My heart goes out to my cousins Vicky, Dawn and Kenny for their loss. Believe me, not a day will pass when you don't think of her and miss her, but you will smile often at the wonderful memories she has left in your hearts and minds.
