Read MoreJanie was my buddy while we both worked at Terrell Lane Middle School. Where ever you saw one of us, you knew the other was nearby. I loved her wit, intelligence, and her love of animals. I will remember that she and Ron would have me over for Thanksgiving dinner many times. Ron, Freda, and Mary, your wife and mother was a real inspiration to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Janie was very special to me and my family. The memory of her scampering up that pine tree by the picnic table in your parent's back yard on Stuart Mill. One of my boys wouldn't take up her challenge to climb that same tree, so she had to show him.
We already miss her. Love to you and Freda.
