Not sure what to say?

I met Janie in 1969, we rode gaming horses in Oregon. She was the sweetest girl ever, so very sorry for your loss. But I am so glad that she started riding horses with Obrist's and got into racing, it was what she was born to do. Sending love and prayers!

Rode with Jane at Portland Meadows. Wonderful to me as I broke my maiden. Encouraged me.

Orcas Island

Happy we we walked in time together Jane. The world is a better place because of you. Your spirit will shine on forever. May the wind be in your wings.

I'm heartbroken to hear of Jane's passing. My heart & prayers are with you Hap, your children & Jane's family.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Jane's passing. She lived life to its fullest and left you with precious memories. I hope those memories help ease your loss. My heart goes out to you.

Thinking of you Hap.

A beautiful life that made a difference in our imperfect world . If I close my eyes and shuffle through my memories of Jane, Her ingenuous smile is the first thing that I see.
In high school I was given the privilege of interviewing her.Sitting there, arm in a cast(Slight inconvenience) same smile, she would be Cheerleading at the game that night. So humble, "why is this all such a big deal"?
By the end of that interview, I was well aware of the change she was making and would continue...

My sincere condolences to all of Jane's family and friends. She will be sorely missed, but her memory will live in their hearts forever.
