I was happy to have know. Mrs Pruitt throughout my high school years at St Pete High, She had so much energy and spirit for St Pete High and its students, continued condolences to her family, A life well spent empowering students to be their best!!!!!

My deepest condolences to the family, I never had her as a teacher but I highly respected her, she was so charming and always about business and loved chatting with her students , she was engaging in all that she did, I was so sad to see that she had passed, she was a Wonderful lady.

Ms. Pruitt was a dedicated and amazing educator. She impacted so many students. She definitely inspired me to become an educator. She was my 10th grade English and AP English teacher. Class of 1988.

Jane was truly devoted to St Pete High and challenged her college bound students to achieve beyond what they thought was possible. My condolescences to Molly, her children, other family, and close friends. Gone too soon.

Wow. What a wonderful lady. She took me and my friends to Europe the summer before she became our AP English teacher. She treated us with so much respect and dignity. A truly exceptional teacher. She will be missed.

My cousin Jane knew how to share the joy of life, knowledge, and travel with all of us. we were so blessed to have her in our lives.

I am sorry to hear this hear, and am praying for the family. Mrs. Pruitt was a no-nonsense teacher who cared about her students. She gave helpful advice while always holding everyone to high standards and never talking down to anyone. One of the highlights of my senior year (class of 89) was Mrs. Pruitt refusing to let me drop AP English, all because she did not believe in helping people waste a year by accommodating their Senioritis. I appreciated that from the moment she looked me in the...

Jane and I laughed, sat by the pool, planned to write a book and taught language arts classes together. We were also in Delta Kappa Gamma together. She was the matron of honor when Rod and I got married. I loved her and I know she loved her family.

Wow no words. She was my favorite teacher my senior year... condolences to the family...
