Not sure what to say?

Jane had such a welcoming smile, and a caring, generous spirit. I first met her back in the 80's when we both were working on Christian Education. We traveled together to meetings and conferences and had such wonderful talks in the car. We enjoyed our conversation so much that once we missed Pontiac, and ended up at the Ambassador Bridge before we realized it.

Her faith was strong, and her desire to live by that faith was a beautiful example of Kingdom Living. I was so blessed to...

Jane was a first grade teacher in Chelsea my first year of teaching there. From that moment, we became friends for life along with her wonderful husband Ray. That was 57 years ago. How blessed and enriched I have been to have had Ray and Jane in my life for all these years. It was/is not possible to say one name without saying the other. They were a couple united in faith, in love and in service. I regret I was out of the country and could not be part of her celebration service. May...

I attended a Methodist camp in Lake Huron area in which Jane Schairer was incharge for the WSCS back in 1964. It was called World Fellowship Camp. Many years later I became her roommate at several National Christian Educators Conferences. She was always a sweetheart. Bless her for her witness and friendship.

Mrs. Schairer taught us, without knowing she was teaching. Possibly the happiest woman I've ever known. I'm grateful for the memories I have of her. Rest peacefully, you will be missed.

I grew up with Mrs.Schairer greeting us every Sunday morning on our way to Sunday School. She had such a gift in making kids feel special and important. She will be dearly missed.

Jane was always the sweetest lady. Everyone knew her at Methodist Church and she continued to be a sweet lady at CRC as well. I know my Mom had very fond memories of her as well. She'll be missed.

I will always remember the smile in Jane's voice when she answered the phone at church. Jane was the most upbeat person I probably ever knew.
