Jane Lang Scheiber

I am coming to this notice very late but wanted to share my sympathy for Jane´s family and my love and respect for her. She hired me as a part-time development researcher in August 1989, when I started graduate school in the Berkeley history department, and I worked with her through the mid-1990s. What a wonderful person she was. She supported me throughout my often challenging early years in my PhD program and was an inspiration to me. She and Harry shared a 1958 wedding date with my own...

I am an American Jewish historian researching an article for Western States Jewish History about Jewish teens from New York who spent summers at Sundown Ranch in Arizona.
