Jane E. Shaw

Aunt Jane was the best example a young girl could have. She was always there for me when I got sick at 19 and knew just how to console me and make me feel better. I remember when she and Mother took Kathy and me blueberrying. I was 5 and Kathy was 4. Kathy was lost for a while and Aunt Jane calmed my mom down and started a methodical search. All was well when she came back with my sister holding her hand.
That's what I remember most. She always held my hand.

She was caring, beautiful, and a wonderful listener. She always encouraged and inspired those who were lucky enough to know her. My husband Dick and I had countless conversations with Jane over these last years and she never failed to put a smile in our hearts. We loved her always...
