Not sure what to say?

Jane's style, grace, and welcoming nature will always be remembered. I hunted with Jane at NHC for twenty odd years. She was always a beautifully clad on her striking gray horse. In fact we often commiserated on the challenge of keeping our grays clean. Jane was beautiful inside and out. Rest in peace. Muffy

As a child I was a next door neighbor to the Sheldon family in Milton. It was Jane who introduced me to fox hunting. And it was Jane who co-founded the Ponkapoag Pony Club in which I was involved for almost 30 years. A lot of people owe a great deal to her many years of service and "go fo it" spirit in the horse community. She was truly a grand lady. I send my condolances to Jane, Mary, Cindy and John and their families. Mary Lee (Razzi) Metcalf Syberts.

Our family had multiple connections to the Sheldon family and we are saddened by Jane's recent death.

Our family had multiple connections to the Sheldons and we are very sad that Jane has died. Steve Jones

I did not ride with Mrs. Sheldon, but I do remember how joyfully she came out to greet any children riding with the Norfolk Hunt. We would enjoy a stirrup cup on her lawn, and she would lovingly pat each fuzzy cobby pony, asking the tiny rider friendly questions about its name and breed. A role model. "Gone Away"
