Read MoreMrs. Sumwalt was my teacher at EHOVE from 1995-1997. We weren't an easy group but she was supportive and cared for all her students. My condolences to her family. Sadly we have just learned of her passing.

Jane sat beside me at the first Firelands Audubon meeting she attended on Huron. She said she wanted to be involved. I asked if she would fo the hospitality and she accepted and did so for years. I just thought of Jane yesterday and read obit today. We walked side by side often on walks. She never mentioned her career before Huro . I was always impressed by her and more so now. Bless her and her family.
