Not sure what to say?

Janie came into my life as an RA my freshman year at Radford. She quickly became a friend and mentor as I became an RA the next year. Janie had a soul unlike most- quick with a laugh or hilarious (sometimes dumb) joke, there with a hug or word of encouragement at a time when you needed one, an all encompassing acceptance of others, and an ideal of the inherent goodness of humankind. Although I lost touch with her after our lives moved us in different directions, Janie has always remained in...

So hard to believe Janie has been gone so long. She was an incredible part of MDA in Tallahassee and I still remember her work ethic. Brenda and I both are thankful for her friendship. Rest In Peace , dear Friend.

Janie Warner was an incredible part of MDA. I so enjoyed working with her. Our time in Tallahassee was made more special because of Janie and the friendship with our family. She is missed.

Truly miss Janie. She was a great co-worker and a wonderful person. One of the most dedicated employees I have had the pleasure of working with... anywhere.
She is missed... and remembered.

Jane. You influenced so many in your short time here with us on Earth. Because of you, and your sunny disposition and positive energy, I met people I would otherwise never have met, and experienced things I would never have enjoyed. I know so many others feel the same. We will miss you, you will be remembered. You made a difference.

You inspired me at Sullins and you continued to inspire me today. Thank you for your light and life.

I hope there is some comfort in knowing how many people Jane touched, so profoundly, in her too-brief time with us. She inspired me with her leadership, and made me proud to call her a friend. The ALAC will thrive because of the vision she set for us, and everything we do – each bold, committed, passionate thought and deed – will honor her memory. Wishing those she loved peace, and eventually, laughter, when remembering Jane. She was an uncommon light in the world.

I am stunned and my heart is broken to hear this terrible news. Janie was my first hire in Tallahassee for MDA. She was also my best hiring decision I have ever made. She was loyal, dedicated, and such a hard worker. Through the years we have stayed in touch and I am still touched by her words of encouragement. She was a friend and my life is better because Janie crossed my path. This is such sad news. I truly miss her. I just shared this sad news with Brenda and she joins me in sending our...

What sad news for your family and friends of Jane. I remember the Warners very well and have always had nothing but warm feelings for all!! I hope you will find comfort and peace with her passing, as she lived an incredible life, helping others, which is how Jesus lived his life. Love to all, Retta "Retsy" Vance-Poynter
