In the fall of 1969 Jane and I both came to Glaydin School, I as a ninth grader and she as director. When she, wearing a button that said "Give a Damn," was introduced and spoke before us, I had a feeling that the world was probably a better place than I had previously thought. With people like her in it, it had to be. The next four years at Glaydin just reaffirmed this. What a wonderful person.
