Miss Zickes was my biology and environmental science class teacher between 1997-2000 at SAA. Whenever I am asked who my favorite teacher from my childhood is, I instantly say Miss Zickes. She helped my love of animals, the environment and life grow and prosper. She had the most kindest smile and heart. I enjoyed listening to her daily prayers before class. I will also never forget the picture of her fluffy cat on the wall (I'm a cat lover as well!). She was and continues to be a role model...
