I was thinking about Janeen & Bill just yesterday (4/9/2022) and was sad to hear that she had passed away last year. I met Janeen in Battle Ground, WA in 1996. She & Bill came to a meeting at the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce to begin a project to restore the SP&S #539 Steam Engine. It was a great & time-consuming project & we became friends the very minute we met. My heart will always remember her with cherished memories.

I remember your mom with great fondness, as a colleague in Grants Pass and as a friend, who attended our wedding in Myrtle Creek in 1977. Earlier Earl, and my husband, Kern, were taking a French cooking class while we were first dating and the spouses were invited to the "final", which was a lovely dinner with recipes from the Cordon Bleu school in Paris that they had learned in the class. The four of us bonded over the good experience. Our thoughts are with you as you navigate life...

I was just thinking about Janeen....today.....12/13/21 Loved you. Thank you for being in my life over the years and enhancing it. You changed the world in many ways, all for the better. Courageous, hilarious and talented. A gem. Carry on!! See you in time.

I loved your mom, her kindness, vitality, total optimism even while going through so many difficulties! She had more than her share of those.
