Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2006 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor, with the Rev. James Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery near Oglesby. Janelle was born March 5, 1968 in Hanford, Calif., the daughter of Andy and Judy Anderson. She was a 1986 graduate of Hanford High School. In 1994, Janelle moved to Texas and attended Vogue Cosmetology School, where she was became instructor. For 10 years, Patriot Mobile Homes employed her as a sales coordinator. On June 15, 2002 she married Bradley Deats at the Four A Ranch in Oglesby. She and Bradley moved to the Oglesby area in 2003 where they enjoyed country living and raising exotic sheep. Janelle was an extraordinary person - someone that many considered to be their "best friend." She shared a passion for the outdoors with her soul-mate, Brad, and spent many hours fishing or hunting for deer, turkey and dove. She excelled at cooking and gardening. She donated her time and her heart to her favorite charity, Make-A-Wish Foundation but giving did not stop with her philanthropy. Her family and many friends were constant recipients of her giving spirit, with her thoughtfulness expressed in innumerable acts of love and kindness. Janelle's smile, punctuated by deep dimples, was irresistible. Her wit, charm and independent spirit captured the hearts and changed the lives of all who knew her. Janelle will forever be cherished and remembered by her husband, Bradley Deats of Oglesby; brother, James C. Anderson and wife, Suzanne of Hanford, Calif.; sister, Jackie Anderson and Rick Johns of San Ramon, Calif.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Jennie Deats of McGregor; nieces, who she will be missed by, Kimber Clark of McGregor and Katie Davis of Hanford, Calif., nephew, Jared Anderson of Hanford, Calif.; sister-in-law, Shelley Deats of Waco; best friend, Kim Clark of McGregor; her special dogs, Callie and Attie; and a multitude of friends. Janelle was a devoted wife, sister, daughter-in-law, aunt and friend. We will all miss her dearly. For those desiring, the family has suggested memorials be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas, 6655 Deseo, Irving, TX 75039 or call (214) 496-wish. Not sure what to say?

Heaven must have needed an Angel. Janelle's mother was solid gold so it follows that her children would be too. There's too few people like them in the world today. Our heartfelt sympathy.

Our family was truly blessed to
have known such a deeply caring
woman.

Brad,
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

If I had to describe Janelle in one word, it would be—lady. She was soft spoken and always had a smile on her face. She was a very kind, loving, and giving person. Our grandchildren, Bailey and Payton, thought she was the greatest—and she was! Payton has always been very shy and not very trusting of people he doesn’t know, but that wasn’t the case the first time he met Janelle; within minutes she was...

You know I go back after looking at the beautiful tribute of Nelle and her life and nothing could sell her short of being an angel. Everyone she came in contact with was blessed with her wonderful, loving, caring and giving personality. She could light up a room with her smile and her laughter even more so. I've got so many fond memories of things we did together the laughter we shared and her helping me decorate my home when I bought it. I feel very blessed in having worked with her at...

Brad and the Patriot Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Janelle was an incredible person full of laughter and joy. I agree that she will make us a wonderful angel.

My heart goes out to your family and friends. I am missing Janelle just as much as she was an amazing person to have known. She never met a stranger and had words for everyone and everything. I loved her as I love my own family as the bond that grew between us during the five years I have known Janelle is unbreakable. I will keep your family in my prayers. And know that Janelle will be watching over us with that beautiful smile of hers. To have known her was an honor in itself. She...

Janelle was a WONDERFUL person to be around. Having been able to work with her for such a short time and learn so much is priceless. She will be sorely missed.
