Mr and Mrs Eklund were such a light in my life. Their teaching and support of a very awkward kid changed my life. They were amazing and kind people and outstanding teachers. You have my eternal thanks and are in my prayers my prayers

I had both Mr and Mrs as teachers at Richland. They pushed to make us better people above all else. So sorry for your loss, but I´m certain we will all see them again!

My most memorable teacher from high school, this saddens me a lot.

Very sorry for your loss. I loved the Eklunds when I had them as teachers. They were kind and loving while still challenging and making us grow as humans (whether we wanted to or not!). Both made me a better student, a better reader and writer, and a better person!

I taught school with Janelle for many years. She was always an exemplary teacher and a gracious part of the English department. I know her family will miss her, but I can only imagine her joyous reunion with Rolf.
