I wish we were closer so I could give you a hug, but know you're in my thoughts. My mom passes her sympathy on as well.

Although I haven't seen Janet in many years, she was in my thoughts recently. I was recalling growing up on Anderson Pkwy and time with Janet naturally came to mind. We spent summer days riding bikes, dressing Barbie dolls, walking to the Colony for shopping or a movie, and playing jacks on our front porches. (I always liked Janet's porch best because it was painted and smoother than mine.) I remember playing cards and having sleepovers in Janet's big knotty pine bedroom. In high school...
