Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear -- a month late, I regret -- of Janet's passing. When I was writing about Canadian constitutional history in the 1990s, I soon discovered Janet Ajzenstat as the best and most passionate thinker around about such matters. And someone with a gift for friendship too, It was always a delight and and inspiration to talk with her. Sandor, I met you a few times being a good son to your mother, and I send my condolences to you and your sister and all the family.

I adored Janet. I learned constitutional law and political theory from her and Sam and found her brilliant. I thought she´d outlive me. Thank you Professor Ajzenstat.

I will forever have fond memories of Dr. Ajzenstat from my time at McMaster. She was my first poli sci professor for 1A6 but also the co-reader for my senior thesis four years later. And I got an A+!!! She was a friend and a true inspiration to me. My sincerest condolences to your family.
