This guest book is to honor a very special person, my mother, Janet Andrews…

She was a remarkable woman with a generous spirit, a kind heart, and incredible energy…

She loved life in so many ways and touched the lives and hearts of many friends and neighbors…

As we visited the house recently, we discovered the peaches she had gathered in anticipation of her making her beloved peach chutney to give as Christmas presents…

She will be remembered for her kindness and...

Uncle Donny and Aunt Janet lived next door to us as we were growing up...and were my godparents. I will always remember trips to their house and farm...and of course watching Uncle Donny making maple syrup...and Aunt Janet always had some maple sugar candy for us. We miss you both....and our thoughts and prayers are with Johnny (my best friend when I was little) and Christine.
Martha Ethridge Andrews (I married a Don Andrews!)

Uncle Donny and Aunt Janet were more like family than employers for us kids who worked summers and vacations. They were kind, supportive, and entertaining. Thank you for wonderful memories of "Pig City" in the summer! You are already missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Andrews Family.
The first trip I took with the Lorenzo docents was to Peebles Island. I had recently moved to Cazenovia and did not know many people. Chris, you and your mom invited me to have lunch with you. I will never forget that. It was always a pleasure talking to Janet. She will be greatly missed.

We first met Janet by way of her concern and friendship for the abandoned animals at Wanderers' Rest. Fond memories of a very fine lady.

A great lady, we'll all miss her very much at Lorenzo!

Comdoleences!

To The Andrews Family,

She was one of the first to welcome me into the community 20 yrs. ago as a Lorenzo Docent and was always there to lend a helping hand in guiding me as their Chairwoman for she was the prior. We went on many fun excursions as well as to the different Lorenzo events. She was always a stedfast friend. I will miss working alongside her, but I will remember her great stories and...
