So sorry not to be able to attend the Memorial service. Our plans were thwarted by the pending hurricane. I have many fond memories of your mother. She was truly an exceptional woman. Love and peace to all her wonderful family.

Dear Walt, Lisa, Andrew, Susan, Paul, and all the family, I know you will sorely miss your mother and grandmother. I will sorely miss my dear friend of more than 70 years. The storm is keeping me from her service, but I will keep her and all of you in my prayers, with love.

I was saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I have lots of happy memories of sleep overs at the Bankowski house. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

For the Family and friends of Jan and Walt,
Nina and I fondly remember our friendship with the Bankowskis when we lived in Virgina Beach. Especially the family trip that we made with our campers to Disney World in the early 70s. We did not learn of Walt's passing until a few months afterwards.
